The disposal and removal of asbestos or asbestos-containing materials from buildings can only be performed on the basis of an authorization issued by the Public Health Office of the Slovak Republic. Dust generated during demolition must be carefully extracted. Asbestos waste must be transported in impermeable containers in covered vehicles. It must also be sufficiently covered, compacted and then covered again on the same day as it was deposited in the landfill. This process prevents asbestos leakage due to wind and water erosion.
